Shipping Operator (Day & Night Shift- $3 Shift Differential)

Job Description: Shipping Operator Royal Canin 920 Arctic Drive Lebanon, TN 37090 Job Purpose/Overview The purpose of this role is to provide shipping and transfer support to the Production Team. This role is also intended to ensure our product is staged Production use, audited, handled, stored, and shipped and readily tracked efficiently while meeting our high-quality standards and maintaining targeted customer service levels. Required Shift: 12-Hour shifts, rotating schedule.Day shift is 6:00 am to 6:30pm; 4 days on and 4 days offNight shift is 6:00 pm to 6:30 am; 4 days on and 4 days off$3 Shift Differential included with Night Shift schedule. Key Responsibilities Lead safety & quality in warehouse and shipping operations.Adhere to all Mars Inc/Royal Canin Safety & Quality and Food Safety requirements.Service the Packaging LineWrap Pallets of Finished Product with Stretch-Wrap MaterialStack empty bags for Packaging Line as necessary.Stack broken down cardboard boxes into case erector for Packaging Line as necessaryStage Finished Product in Warehouse and or trailerPrepare Trailer for LoadingLoad Trailers with Finished ProductUnload Production Supplies (raw materials, packaging, pallets) from TrailersEscalate and report any issues to Shipping Coordinator, Warehouse Coordinator, Shift Manager and/or Flow Manager.Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and control (cycle counts).Verify all required documentation including quality, production, and sanitation records.Ensure all flow housekeeping tasks are performed and the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) is executed.Perform a changeover and walkthrough (MSE CPs) with the oncoming and off-going team to discuss shipping-area status and to ensurecleanliness and safety.Drive for 5S Step-Change in shipping/warehouse Oversee and Maintain Forklift Charging/equalization schedule/Rack inspectionMake sure that all Forklift Pre-Checks are completedPerform assigned task of master sanitation schedule of Extrusion Perform miscellaneous tasks the Supervisor or Warehouse Coordinator directsAssist in other production areas, as requested. Context and Scope Shipping operators are accountable for safety, quality, and productivity. Shipping operators will need to have an eye for driving continuous improvement and continuous improvement processes in shipping/warehouse operations. Education & Professional Qualifications High School graduateRelevant logistics/transportation experience.Knowledge / Experience Basic knowledge of Warehouse and Transportation Management Systems.
