SHIPPING - MATERIAL HANDLER

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or other hand truck
• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
• Perform cycle counts as required
• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods

Job Summary

Position pulls orders using computer generated picking documents and the timely and accurate loading of product on trailers. The position also pulls raw materials for production and stocks the production areas to ensure uninterrupted production. The position also stocks daily production into the warehouse keeping track of locations using put away sheets.

Education & Experience

• or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Manufacturing Experience a plus

About the Role

The Materials Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently moved and delivered to customers on time. This position operates both the first and second shifts, working from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Friday and 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM Monday through Thursday respectively. The starting pay for the first shift is $18.50 - $19.75 per hour, while the second shift offers a $1.75/hour shift differential.
