SHIPPING - MATERIAL HANDLER -1st SHIFT

About the role

Warehouse Specialists perform daily duties including loading and unloading trucks, staging and pulling selected orders for daily production, and participating in general housekeeping as outlined by management.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently and independently on any Receiving-related activity as directed
• Conduct RF CycleCounts as directed by count event
• Assist co-workers on use of RF equipment
• Arrange and consolidate aisles, lanes, locations, and relocate product for maximum use of space
• Read and understand production schedules
• Accurately pull Grocery List (RM) and transfer to Weight Out Room
• Utilize RF system to locate, identify, and move Raw Material inventory within warehouses, trailers, and plant
• Understand packaging and raw material item characteristics
• Train new co-workers in all facets of daily operations
• Complete warehouse paperwork as required
• Properly inspect trailers and load LTL, Truckloads, containers, and properly secure loads
• Accurately count inventory manually, make necessary updates, changes, and moves to correct as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Forklift certification

7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
