Shipping - Loader/Unloader 2nd Shift

About the role

As a Loader/Unloader I, you will move material—including glass and/or metal—from one position or location to another to expedite product flow throughout the plant. This includes on/off-loading product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates. You will report to the Shipping Supervisor and play a vital role in the Shipping Department, contributing to an industry leader.

Responsibilities

• On/off-load product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Prepare orders for delivery by organizing and securing glass for transport.
• Perform work as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines; ability to work overtime when required.
• Work is performed inside a production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
• Noise levels in the work environment can be moderate to high.
• The plant facility is subject to regional climate conditions (heat, cold, humidity, etc.).

Pay

Starting pay is $26.70 per hour.
