Shipping Lead Nightshift

Arconic is currently in search of a Shipping Shift Lead on nights to join our Kawneer Team based in Springdale, Arkansas. About the role

In this role, you will be an active leader in helping develop a culture of safety, coordinate day-to-day production and work standards, and ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and rules. You will work with the department Supervisor and leads to foster good working relationships between all departments.

Responsibilities

• Operate all pieces of equipment within the department.
• Verify box counts and loading requirements.
• Help train new employees.
• Work and communicate with customer service to meet customer needs.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with co-workers, internal and external suppliers, promoting a teamwork environment.
• Perform pre-startup inspections.
• Demonstrate very strong people skills.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of JDE and showcase queries.
• Excellent decision-making and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment.
• Flexibility to work any shift based on production needs, including extended hours and weekends.
• Team-oriented mindset.
