Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Oversees and performs duties specific to the department.
  • Directs activities of the various processes, float, and fill-in for absent employees, as needed.
  • Oversees and ensures that all processes including safety are being followed and the line flow is balanced accordingly.
  • Oversees all stations, inspection, parts identification, and entry in SAP.
  • Checks engines for completeness of processes.
  • Need to be a good steward of the product to maximize the components recovered and minimize damage.
  • Need to be vigilant with a goal to maximize the components recovered and minimize damage during, handling, and transportation.
  • Provides technical support to staff, including tools, materials, and training.
  • Trains and develops new employees using the DEUTZ onboarding process.
  • Maintains monitoring of new employees to ensure that they maintain Deutz standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Monitors and re-trains as necessary.
  • Be able to provide feedback on employee performance.
  • Supports cross-training of employees.
  • Updates and maintains training records as required.
  • Tracks and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to accurately solve problems.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of lifting equipment and/or devices.
  • Strong leadership skills with training experience.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Minor computer skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • General knowledge of engine parts.
  • Experience operating forklifts.
  • SAP experience.
  • Flexible schedule.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment.
