  • Working in a dock environment.
  • Ability to achieve all needed forklift operator certifications.
  • Not required prior to start date.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an integrated team.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Obtaining a security clearance requires US Citizenship.

The Work

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented entry level dock worker to join our team. As a Material Distribution Handling Support Senior, you will be responsible for performing manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility.

Work Schedule

This position is assigned to a weekend shift.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of the job include lifting, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment, as well as standing for long periods of time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Prepare materials for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Operate hand trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to move materials within the facility.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials shipped and received, including bills of lading and inventory reports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective material movement and storage.
