Job Description/Responsibilities
- Coordinate outbound shipping activities using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including inventory validation, order releases, and shipment tracking.
- Respond to schedule changes and resolve shipping issues to ensure efficient distribution operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory record management.
- Verify compliance with federal and state labeling requirements prior to shipment.
- Partner with warehouse operations to coordinate outbound appointments, support loading crews, and optimize product movement from on-site and off-site storage locations.
- Drive efficient workflow while meeting customer and operational expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve distribution processes by documenting procedures, maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), and recommending WMS enhancements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Promote a safe, compliant work environment by following company safety, food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to support operational excellence and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have 2 years of successful work experience.
- Must have 2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience in the alcohol beverage industry or CPG overall.
- Requires experience in manufacturing software (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS).
