Shipping Coordinator

About the role

Coordinate and administer logistics functions within the finished goods department, supporting internal and external customers in the outbound shipment process and ensuring on-time delivery of paint and coatings products.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for communication with 4PL providers
• Create all required shipping documentation
• Purchase and maintain stocking levels for all department supplies
• Liaison with customer service, sales, customers, and carriers on transportation-related issues
• Manage document retention program for critical hazardous material documentation per 49CFR regulations
• Manage return process through CLX inbound portal
• Schedule carrier pickups (LTL, TL, Intermodal, and Expedite)
• Demonstrate good working knowledge of the Warehouse Management module in SAP
• Perform inventory and cycle counting responsibilities

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Detail-oriented
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
