We are currently recruiting for a Shipping Clerk II, Temporary 6 month assignment, working 8am - 4:30pm. What You Will Do In The Position Packing DutiesPerforms packing work to written policies and proceduresVerifies material picked for sales orders match material listed on packing slipReviews and follow all instructions noted in the packing instructionsPackages material securely in designated carton(s) per department established proceduresPackages all hazardous materials to written policies and proceduresShipping DutiesPerforms shipping work to written policies and proceduresProcess shipments through ERP and shipping systemsVerifies shipping label(s) accuracy and apply to carton(s)Applies all regulatory package labeling as requiredStages orders for collection based on department proceduresPerforms all workstation end-of-day processesCreates itemized packing slips and dangerous goods paperwork for applicable shipmentsCross trains to Finished Goods Clerk II requirements to support operationsInventory SupportEnsures quality and accuracy in workReports discrepancies to appropriate supervisionPerforms cycle counts with supervisionWork Area MaintenanceMaintains a safe and clean work areaPerforms aisle/workstation maintenanceParticipates in Lean initiativesAdministrativeAbility to manage time wiselyMaintains good attendance in accordance with company guidelinesAdheres to all Company health and safety policies and proceduresWork as a member of the team What You Will Need To Succeed QualificationsRequiredAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic computer skills (Outlook, Windows, Teams, Training software)Strong attention to detailBasic math skillsGood time management and organization skillsSmall parcel shipping experienceDomestic and international shipping experienceExperience with UPS and Fed-Ex shipping softwarePreferredAX experienceBasic analytical skillsHazardous shipping experienceCycle count experienceExperience1 year related experienceEducationHigh School Diploma - RequiredTravel: 0% The posted pay range, $17.50 to $23.32, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors.
