Shipping Clerk I

About the role

This position will pick, package and/or ship products as per work instructions.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Pick Orders
• Confirm orders
• Package orders as required for product protection and cost effectiveness
• Determine the best shipping method for larger orders
• Ship as per directed on orders (such as FED EX, UPS)
• Place FedEx, UPS, and Express packages on skids in their correct locations
• Wrap skids and load trucks as needed
• Report all safety issues to the warehouse manager
• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive environment
• All other duties as deemed appropriate to the position

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and procedures
• Basic math skills and proficiency in the use of personal computer programs including WMS, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy are a must
• Capable of working alone or as a team
• Use of Computer, Mobile Scanners, Pallet Jack, Poly Air Machine, Fill Pack Paper Machine, Vertical Storage Unit, Electric Pallet Jack, Automatic Strapping and Banding Machine

Minimum Requirements

• Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed

Quality Requirements

• Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
• Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function)
• Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function)
• Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval
• Adept to the “Beyond Compliance Quality Culture” in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently, and over 50 lbs. with assisted lift
• Frequent standing, sitting, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying and walking throughout the warehouse
• Ability to safely, and properly, operate power industrial equipment

Pay

$18.00/hour + 10% Shift Differential

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 12pm-8:30pm
