Position Summary

Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be an integral part of our success and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Shipping of production outbound
- Prepare shipping BOL, documents, labels and customs paperwork for international delivery
- Prepare product for shipping via national and global means, including crating, shrink-wrapping, and banding
- Operate crane, pallet jack, and forklift to load panels for shipping
- Aid in training measures as needed
- Maintain a safe, organized, clean and efficient work area
- Aid in 5S and Lean activities as required
- Identify and assist in process improvement measures
- Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization
Education & Experience
- High school education or equivalent (required)
- Prior warehouse receiving experience (required), industrial setting (preferred)
- ERP experience (preferred)
- Leadership experience (preferred)
- Forklift driving experience required (certification process provided)
Abilities & Skills
- Good math, computer (Microsoft Office) and communication skills
- High motivation level, ability to multi-task and work well independently as well as with others
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Lifting up to 50-85 pounds occasionally (with assistance)
- Ability to read and follow company shipping documents
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours per day
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: Hourly pay range of $18.00-$20.00
