About the role
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for real time analysis and assisting the coordination and balance of Shipping Operations. The role includes monitoring and documenting productivity measurements, supporting the Shipping Manager/Lead, and ensuring end of day tasks are completed.
Responsibilities
- Collects and records current productivity numbers and reports them to the Shipping Manager.
- Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all Shipping technology.
- Supports the Shipping Manager/Lead by providing administrative support, developing and maintaining a working knowledge and understanding of all Shipping technology, and performing additional duties as requested.
- Supports the Shipping Manager/Lead as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
- Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail oriented and accurate.
- Ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data.
- Prior experience in warehouse environment.
- Prior experience in an administrative role.
- Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s.
Qualifications
- Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Able to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
- Sit, stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
- Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 25%
- Sitting, Desk or phone work: 75%
Skills

- General knowledge and understanding of warehouse/distribution center operations.

Pay
Starting hourly pay at $18.00 - $20.00/hour (based on experience).
Schedule
Monday - Friday (Saturdays as required), 11:00am - 7:30pm
