Responsibilities

• Package, ship, and track products using the most cost-effective methods; coordinate with carriers and load shipments as needed.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials/products; distribute to appropriate departments and manage returns.
• Operate equipment and handle materials safely, adhering to all safety practices and guidelines.
• Communicate shipping/receiving issues promptly and ensure compliance with all SOPs, QSRs, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with shipping vendors and requirements
• The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions such as Manufacturing Assembly Instructions, Quality Standards and Standard Operating Procedures
• The ability to perform simple writing tasks such as recording log entries into an ERP system, lot numbers and dates
• The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
