Shipping Associate SUMMARY: Responsible for all tasks related to accurately packing and shipping items in a fast-paced environment. This position works in partnership with eCommerce Fulfillment and reports to Logistics & Operations management Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assume overall responsibility for Shipping goods and functions Assist in the intake, prep, and packing of all outgoing items to meet the daily FedEx, UPS & USPS pick-up and drop-off deadlineAssemble, prepare, fill, and package boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shippedProduct Inspection (outbound)Print shipping product labels and secure them to boxesUpdate Inventory in the database and promptly report low inventory itemsManage and maintain Excel spreadsheetMaintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as neededMaintain and organize suppliesAssess packaging needs adequately for delicate itemsOther duties may be assigned Education & Experience High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 1 year of shipping experience in a packaging warehouse environmentProficiency in Microsoft applications and basic knowledge of computer skillsMust be highly detail-oriented and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentMust have transportation Visit our websites for more information: www.PlanITROI.com, www.TechTradeUp.com, www.DigitalDreamsProject.com
