About the role
The Shipping Associate is responsible for the expedient and accurate handling of outgoing customer shipments. Attention to detail, ability to work within a team, strong communication skills, and easily adapts to change.
What you'll do
- Review IRIS (Inventory Tracking System)
- Work with other shipping associates to prioritize the daily work
- Confirm materials with packing slips and ensure secure shipments
- Ensure correct inventory is picked
- Escalate shipping issues as needed
- Use digital printers and pallet jacks
- Maintain clean and safe shipping stations and inventory aisles
- Complete post shift cleanup duties
- Assist other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned

Essential functions
- Possesses an intermediate level of technical proficiency to utilize internal and external software tools for prioritizing shipments, ensuring efficient workflow and on time shipments
- Adhere strictly to processes and review digital job tickets with attention for detail, ensuring quality products, high accuracy, and low spoilage
- Operate and maintain equipment, including digital printers and pallet jacks, safely and effectively while managing a high volume of work
- Ability to work a full-time schedule 40 hour work week
- Perform physical tasks required for the shipping position, including standing for 8-10-hour shifts, lifting and transporting objects weighting up-to 40 pounds, and executing a variety of functional movements such as grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, bending, stooping, and climbing

Preferred Schedule: M-F 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Wage: $18-$19/hr DOE
