Shipping Associate

About the role

Application Deadline: 30 September 2026. Department: Logistics / Supply Chain / Distribution / Transportation. Location: US - Oklahoma - Oklahoma City. Responsible for the handling and processing of warehouse work orders, purchase orders, and sales orders; transporting inventory; and maintaining stock in warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
• Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
• Operates a powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload and load trucks.
• Fills and transacts work orders, purchase orders, or sales orders.
• Performs quality checks on stock items to report defects or damage.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Experience: 6 months or more experience working in shipping or receiving (preferred).
• Certificates and Licenses: Forklift Certification (required).
• Computer Skills: Basic – Barcode scanner.

• Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
• Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
• Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.

Pay

$18.25 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Shift work up to 10 hours per day may be required, with overtime as needed.
