Shipping Associate

Responsibilities

• Supports day-to-day operations of the Branch providing order and delivery services.
• Handles all aspects of warehouse functions including storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for customer delivery.
• Maintains the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Works in a constant state of alert and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to identify product by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Must be able to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Certification of power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment such as bar-coding equipment and handheld devices.
• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements

• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, pull, and push for extended periods.
• May require climbing of ladders for top-level selection.
• Able to perform tasks requiring close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
