Shipping Associate Responsibilities Include Pick, pull, and pack customer orders for shipmentPull parts from inventory based on customer ordersReview technical prints to verify part specifications before processing for shipmentPhotograph items prior to packaging to ensure quality control and documentation standardsEnsure orders are safely packed to prevent damage during transitAccurately enter shipment data and generate labels using shipping software systems such as UPS, DataWorks, and other logistics platformsAssist in maintaining accurate inventory records by verifying quantities during the picking and packing processMaintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and practices.Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and increase efficiency EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse role within a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and comprehend technical prints, work instructions, manuals, and other written correspondenceExperience with basic hand tools (saws, hammers, drills, etc.)Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory management softwareStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressureStrong communication skills, delivering thoughts and ideas clearly both written and verballyExperience operating powered industrial trucks (e.g. forklifts)
