Shipping Associate

CP Flexible Packaging in Bristol, PA is seeking an experienced Shipping Associate.

About the role

The primary function of this position is to coordinate the communications and documentation associated with shipping and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete pick ticket (shipment) processing and initiate customer invoicing
• Prepare documents (packing list, BOL, etc.) for outbound shipments, including direct to customer, 3P vendor, and interplant shipments
• Perform quality control and organization of shipping and receiving paperwork
• Expedite material needed for shipment with the production plant as needed
• Schedule outbound carrier pick-ups as needed
• Serve as the warehouse point of contact for the Customer Support group
• Schedule inbound carrier delivery appointments using Outlook calendar
• Enter raw material film receipts and print labels for inbounds via ASN notification and direct delivery to the warehouse
• Enter stock movements relating to film released and moving from plant to plant
• Comply with all company-wide standard operating procedures (SOPs) and any job or department-specific SOPs, covering areas such as employee health and safety, AIB, GMP, SGP, and environmental regulatory procedures
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Experience operating a stand-up forklift and reach truck
• RF gun experience
• General knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations (preferred but not required)
• Basic computer knowledge and skills (Word, Excel, Outlook email, ERP software)
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well under sometimes stressful conditions

Physical Demands

• Intermittent walking in and between warehouse and production facilities

Working Conditions

• Steel toe shoes required
• AIB-required PPE (safety glasses, hairnet, etc.) in designated areas

Schedule

Standard work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required.
