Shipping and Receiving Specialist

The Role

We are seeking a Material Handler to join our Kalkaska plant. This position involves operating forklifts, using precision measurement tools, managing inventory, and ensuring materials meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move materials between departments and onto shipping trucks.
• Use micrometers, gauges, and microscopes to inspect raw materials for quality.
• Manage inventory through cycle counting and Work-In-Process (WIP) processing.
• Create accurate labels and documentation to prevent material loss.

Requirements

• Precision: Attention to detail and ability to notice small details.
• Strength: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic and willingness to be part of a team.
• Forklift License: Possession of a forklift license or willingness to be trained and certified.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in shipping/receiving and packaging.
• Basic computer skills.
