About the role
This position supports Warehouse Operations and Logistics in Woodridge, Illinois, within a fast-paced environment. The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for executing daily shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and organization. This role requires a hands-on individual who can balance physical warehouse responsibilities with system-based order and shipment processing activities.

Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare shipments and create shipping labels (UPS, FedEx, or similar systems)
- Operate a stand-up reach truck forklift to move, load, and organize inventory
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials
- Support inventory-related tasks, including counting and tracking stock as needed
- Update and maintain order and shipment information within ERP or warehouse systems to support accurate fulfillment and tracking
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safe working conditions
- Follow all OSHA guidelines and company safety standards
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 45 lbs) and remain on your feet throughout the shift
- Proficiency with ERP or warehouse systems (e.g., JD Edwards or similar) to support order processing and shipment activities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including a stand-up reach truck forklift
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
- Current stand-up reach truck forklift certification with hands-on operating experience (Crown or similar equipment)
- Experience with picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Experience navigating ERP or warehouse systems to support order processing and shipment activities
- Strong communication skills and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with UPS, FedEx, or similar shipping systems
- Additional inventory or warehouse systems experience

Pay
The salary range for this role is $23.00 to $25.00 an hour, based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
