Shipping and Receiving Associate

Agilent with locations in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia specializes in contract development and manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, focusing on clinical-to-commercial scale production for microbial fermentation, synthetic small molecules including ADC, HPAPI, plasmid DNA, mRNA, LNP, and sterile filling capabilities. They are currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate at their Windsor, Nova Scotia location.

About the role

The Shipping and Receiving Associate will be responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling all logistics related to inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Process shipping documentation and prepare packages for shipment.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding shipments and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or receiving environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Understanding of quality control and safety protocols.
