Shipping and Logistics Manager

About the role

The Shipping and Logistics Manager will oversee all shipment activities across all lines of business, both domestic and international. They will work across various departments, 3P distributors, and other parties to ensure products reach their destinations on time and at the best possible cost. This role involves ensuring compliance with interstate traffic laws and regulations, responding to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages, and collaborating with vendors and warehouses on proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all shipment activities across all lines of business, domestic and international;
• Work across all departments, 3P distributors, and other parties to ensure product gets to the right place, on time, and at the best possible cost;
• Ensure all shipments are compliant with interstate traffic laws and regulations;
• Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages;
• Work with vendors and warehouses on proper documentation to match receiving logs;
• Receive and transfer product so location and invoicing is correct;
• Maintain open purchase orders to ensure timely receiving of goods.

Requirements

• Previous shipping and logistics experience;
• Familiarity with freight, UPS, FedEx, and DHL, both domestically and internationally;
• Knowledge of Harmonized System (HS) Codes and completing commercial invoices;
• Experience with SAP, Xero, or similar inventory software;
• Strong mastery of Excel;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Detail and deadline-oriented, with strong follow through;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Possess a positive work attitude with the ability to work on many projects at one time;
• Work experience in entertainment and/or music industries a plus.
