About the role
The Boeing Company is seeking a Shipping & Distribution Facilitator B to support Boeing Global Services in SeaTac, WA. This position is 100% onsite and requires working at the listed location. Employees in this role work in a Distribution Center or Shipping Area, handling tasks such as receiving, storing, issuing, packaging, crating, and over-boxing of aircraft parts, major assemblies, tools, kits, and hazardous material.
Responsibilities
- Assure proper handling and packaging of hazardous materials per established domestic and international rules, regulations, and mandates.
- Use and operate material handling equipment such as riding electric powered lifts, overhead hoists, conveyors, and packaging equipment (e.g., power saws, pneumatic nail guns, staplers, knives, and banding equipment).
- Work in high places as required.
- Frequently stand, lift/carry up to 15 lbs, and occasionally up to 35 lbs; bend, kneel, and twist.
- Operate in environments with potential exposure to hazardous materials (e.g., radioactive signs, explosives, lubricants, solvents, wood splinters, sawdust). Use required protective equipment (eye, hearing, hand/foot, fall protection).
- Operate Microsoft Windows and mainframe computing systems to maintain inventory records and accountability.
- Open shipping containers using tools such as knives, crow bars, and hammers; compare and verify shipping labels and packing slips for accuracy.
- Sort freight and route to appropriate areas; store parts to ensure inventory accuracy and part integrity.
- Fabricate and pack shipping containers.
- Maintain effectiveness during major changes in work tasks, environment, or daily priorities.
- Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate team goals.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees).
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to frequently carry up to 15 lbs and occasionally up to 35 lbs.
- Willingness to work a non-regular work week (Saturday and Sunday as normal work days).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Distribution Center or Shipping Area.
- Experience using a computer-based inventory management system.

Pay
Pay is based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $23.00 – $47.22 per hour.
Schedule
This position is for 2nd shift.
