About the role

Staples Promotional Products – a division of Staples – is a national leader in the promotional products industry. We help customers build love for their brands with customized merchandise solutions. Whatever story they want to tell, connection they want to make, or goal they need to deliver, Staples Promo makes it easy to design promo experiences that create lasting impact.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and measure packages and scan bar codes from pick slips and cartons.
• Enter data into shipping system to print shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
• Load shipping trailers.
• Assist in other areas as needed during periods of slow work volume.
• Ensure all orders ship to customers within 24 hours of receipt.
• Ship a minimum of 100 packages per hour with no more than 2 errors per month.

Requirements

• Positive attitude that supports teamwork and strong communication.
• Safety-focused with the ability to follow all procedures in the performance of job duties.
• Ability to understand and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail to ensure items are packed and shipped accurately.
• Basic data entry/computer skills.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 50% of the time.
  • Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous related work experience.

Pay

$19.75/hour.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
