Shipper / Receiver

About the role

REISER is a 60+ year-old company in the food equipment industry, known for its quality products, innovation, and excellent customer service. The company aims to provide reliable solutions to food manufacturers through its equipment and support.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders in the stockroom of over 25,000 industrial parts using RF Scanner and Prelude ERP
• Pack and ship customer orders (domestic and international)
• Process and complete shipping for more than 200 packages daily
• Manage inventory and perform weekly cycle counts
• Assemble weekly parts crates for the Canada division
• Supply parts for assembly and modifications of customer machines
• Streamline work order procedures to meet demand
• Aid other teams with tasks as needed
• Willingness to work some overtime
• Assistance with some light IT issues

Requirements

• One year of shipping and receiving or warehouse experience, including experience with RF Scanners
• Experience using ERP software, especially Prelude
• Domestic and international shipping experience
• Equipment experience with sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts
• A High School Diploma is required for this role
• Initiative, critical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, decision-making, persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Ability to stand on feet all day and lift up to 70 lbs regularly

Pay

$20 - 24/hour

Schedule

Second shift hours (10:30am – 7:00pm), with weekend overtime available. Part-time positions are also available within the 10:30am to 7:00pm range.
