Schedule
Monday – Friday: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (or until finished). Overtime and weekends required based on business needs.
About the role
As a Shipper/Receiver, you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.
Requirements
- Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates, and pallet wrap machines
- Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment experience
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy
- Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures
- Available to work overtime as required
Responsibilities
- Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers’ orders preparing them for delivery
- Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations
- Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations
- Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion
- Understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP used for all aspects of warehouse operations
- Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures
- Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein
