Schedule

Monday – Friday: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (or until finished). Overtime and weekends required based on business needs.

About the role

As a Shipper/Receiver, you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates, and pallet wrap machines
  • Minimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment experience
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
  • Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy
  • Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures
  • Available to work overtime as required

Responsibilities

  • Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers’ orders preparing them for delivery
  • Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations
  • Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations
  • Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion
  • Understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP used for all aspects of warehouse operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures
  • Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein
  • Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn

  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
