Shipper/ Packer

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate with shipping manager to maintain inventory levels, orders, and ship dates
• Receive and fulfill direct ship orders daily
• Ensure all orders are packaged according to company standards and shipped in a timely manner
• Audit and pack eCommerce orders for fulfillment
• Prepare pallets for distribution
• Identify and dispose of defective items before shipment
• Log on the sample log
• Use packaging materials per company standards and requirements
• Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse
• Pull and stack products based on daily orders
• Seal and case box dry good products
• Seal and pack pallet product according to the production schedule
• Maintain product quality and report any issues
• Operate various pieces of equipment (i.e. pallet jack, dolly, pallet wrapper, tape machines)
• Report any mechanical problems
• Follow continuous-improvement mindset and assist in process improvements
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and work-safe practices
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
