Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment in accordance with safety standards.
- Pick, stage, and package work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive incoming materials and perform proper put-away following inventory procedures.
- Load and unload trucks while maintaining product integrity and safety.
- Pick and stage sales orders for outbound shipment.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy efforts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Communicate issues or variances to the Shipping Lead.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
- Basic warehouse and material-handling knowledge.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Education & Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience with FEFO and Inventory Control preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. independently and heavier loads with assistance.
- Tolerance for exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and manufacturing environments.
Education & Experience
- Knowledge of shipping procedures/processes preferred.
- Good math skills and proficient computer knowledge (MS Word and Excel).
- Experience with MRP Systems.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
Pay & Benefits
- This position has a salary range of $20.00.
- The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.
- Bonus Pay: Meridian offers an incentive plan for 2025 focused on safety, quality, and financial metrics. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 a year, with earned payments distributed quarterly throughout the year.

About the Role
- Shipper serves as the foundation of daily warehouse operations.
- This role is hands-on and task-driven, focused on the safe, accurate movement of materials and finished goods.
- Shippers execute core warehouse functions with discipline and consistency, supporting the flow of work that keeps the operation steady and on time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
