Shipper

About the Role

A Shipper plays an important part of the Outbound team by ensuring all outbound shipments are processed according to client and customer needs. This position involves frequently lifting and moving boxes from 20–50 lbs. and wrapping pallets throughout the shift. You’ll work with products from clients heavily involved in the active lifestyle.

Success in this role requires thriving in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, working well under pressure and tight deadlines, and maintaining high attention to detail. Adaptability to changing priorities, strong communication, teamwork, and a "can-do" attitude are key traits for happiness and success.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outbound products are loaded and shipped according to assigned carrier.
• Generate and apply custom retailer carton labels in the correct position.
• Use and navigate the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ship orders.
• Consolidate shipment requirements based on customer requests.
• Follow NRI safety rules, procedures, security protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy work and storage area at all times.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• 6+ months of prior warehouse experience; shipping department experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, working at heights, and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, and cold.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Qualifications

• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
• Trustworthy and moral character (pre-employment background and drug tests are required).

Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Monday - Friday: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Pay

Starting pay: $17.75/hour (day shift) or $18.75/hour (evening shift) with shift differential.
