How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)
SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Shipping and Receiving Assembler, you will prepare product for export and receive materials and goods needed for business.
What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)
- Receiving and sorting incoming goods and dispersing them to the proper personnel/department.
- Administer all paperwork associated with the department, packing slips, freight tickets, factory orders, and bills of lading.
- Validating all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Prepare all outgoing shipments in accordance to shipping standards for weight and crating specifications.
- Maintain UPS shipments and on-line system.
What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)
- Required Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training
- Education & Certifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Travel & Working Environment: Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
