SHINE Open Enrollment Specialist

About the Role

Assist the SHINE (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone) Regional Office with SHINE Counseling to Medicare beneficiaries during the Medicare annual open enrollment period, October 15 through December 7, 2026.

This is a seasonal, hybrid position with both in-person and virtual requirements, running from October 2026 to December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide SHINE Counseling to Medicare beneficiaries.
• Navigate and utilize the Medicare.gov website and state SHINE Counselor website.
• Use remote technology to conduct virtual counseling sessions.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified SHINE Counselor with a minimum of one year of experience.
• Able to operate a computer and navigate relevant websites.
• Flexible schedule that fluctuates based on demand.

Schedule

Averages 20 hours per week during the enrollment period.

Pay

\$28.91 per hour.
