About the role

As a shift supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make your coffeehouse a welcoming space for your community. Every shift is a chance to brighten someone’s day while maintaining store operations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Uphold store operating policies and standards, including quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security
  • Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including adjustments for temperature, ingredient quantity, or substitutions
  • Delegate tasks to other employees and coordinate the work of two or more employees

Requirements

  • Six months of experience in a customer-facing role requiring constant interaction and fulfilling customer requests
  • At least six months of experience delegating tasks or coordinating the work of two or more employees

Skills

  • Ability to direct the work of others
  • Quick learner with effective oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of the retail environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to build relationships
