About the role

As a shift supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make your coffeehouse a welcoming space for your community. Every shift is a chance to brighten someone’s day while maintaining store operations and ensuring quality beverages and food products.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Adhere to store operating policies and standards, including cash handling, safety, and security.
  • Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customer customizations.
  • Delegate tasks to other employees and coordinate the work of two or more employees.
  • Interact constantly with customers, fulfilling their requests and building relationships.

Requirements

  • Six months of experience in a customer-facing role requiring constant interaction.
  • At least six months of experience delegating tasks or coordinating the work of two or more employees.

Skills

  • Ability to direct the work of others.
  • Quick learning and effective oral communication.
  • Knowledge of the retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to build relationships.
