SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Location: Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital - 235 Wealthy Street South East, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Schedule

Full time. Days and hours may vary; rotating weekends and some holidays required.

Pay

$23.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour

Requirements

• 2 years of previous leadership experience required

About the role

Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and create work schedules
• Evaluate the performance of workers, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off
• Act as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization
• Perform other duties as assigned
