About the role

The Shift Supervisor assists the General Manager/Assistant General Manager in leading store personnel, achieving key performance metrics, and ensuring efficient daily operations. This role ensures regulatory compliance and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assume all duties of a key-holding supervisor, including opening/closing procedures and basic staff supervision
• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
• Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state-specific regulations
• Review, communicate, and enforce company SOPs, including updates to employees
• Provide coaching, training, and development focused on service standards and accountability
• Monitor and maintain store inventory
• Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations
• Maintain professional relationships with business partners
• Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma required
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service (a plus)
• Prior cash handling experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism; ability to maintain confidentiality
• Conversational English proficiency for effective communication with customers and team members
• Ability to operate electronic equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.) and comprehend safety procedures
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a MVR background check (delivery locations only)
• Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to work independently, with flexibility, personal integrity, and adaptability
• Must relate to and work with patrons of diverse ages, abilities, and emotional states

Physical Requirements

• Constantly move/traverse throughout the facility, including tight spaces
• Accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information with others, including the public
• Observe/inspect details at varying ranges; operate computing devices
• Frequently manipulate objects of varying sizes/weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools)
• Push/pull objects up to 50 lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50 lbs
• Ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self/objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl)
• Visual and auditory acuity (with or without job aids) to perform all functions
• Occasionally remain in a seated position

Schedule

Up to 40 hours weekly with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

$17.00 an hour
