About the role

We seek gregarious, hospitable, and energetic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should be competitive, accommodating, and available to work at least 28 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine service
• Be knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinks
• Prepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standards
• Work all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable, including working in our kitchens to make food to order
• Help run and administer a smooth schedule for breaks, meal periods, and shifts
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work, and special tasks
• Lead all shift duties as directed by the manager on duty
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety — always ready for guests and teammates
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team
• Balance and manage deposits
• Actively participate in inventory and waste management
• Adhere to opening and closing duties checklist and procedures
• Perform all other duties at the discretion of the store manager or other members of leadership

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferred
• Previous fast-paced coffee experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Drive-Thru experience is preferred
• Guest service focused and solution oriented
• Passion for great coffee and exceptional guest service
• Strong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be available to work 28 hours/week including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work a mixture of open, closes, and mid-shifts as dictated by business needs

Pay

Base pay is $18.35 per hour. In addition to base pay, team members receive tips averaging approximately $5.00 per hour. Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our guests regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for great service and energy. Actual amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and guest discretion. Average tips reflect 2025 reporting.
