Shift Supervisor
The Shift Supervisor assists clients and guests ensuring that their requests are met. They coordinate the non-clinical needs of families and guests, by greeting, managing, maintaining security and coordinating the operations of the client care team. The Shift Supervisor orients clients to the program and engages clients in services, protects client rights, promotes client and coworker safety, and clarifies facility rules.
Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for all functions of the program when Program Director, Associate Program Director of Operations are not on-site.
- Directs all front desk staff, private security workers, and resident service workers activities to ensure adherence to policy and procedures.
- Ensures client care, new intakes, and is main liaison between funder while on duty.
- Oversee client participation in daily program activities.
- Provide optimal customer service.
- Ensure proper documentation of front desk activities.
- Provide emergency assistance to residents as needed and supervise incident management system.
- Monitor building safety.
- Conduct rounds at residence as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Ability to perform diverse tasks with ease and maintain confidentiality.
Certifications Required Within 90 Days of Hire
- Coordinator of Fire Safety & Alarms (F80)
- Food Service Handler Certificate
- Fire Guard (F02)
Certifications Required Within 180 Days of Hire
- CPR/First Aid Certificate
