Shift Supervisor

Role Summary

The Shift Supervisor will assist the General Manager/Assistant General Manager in leadership and supervision of store personnel, achieving key performance metrics, and ensuring the efficient daily operation of the store. This role ensures regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experience.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
• Maintain consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations
• Review, communicate, and ensure compliance with all company SOPs and assure that any changes are communicated to employees
• Provide coaching, training, and development to the team focused on company service standards and accountability to meet specific objectives
• Monitor and maintain store inventory
• Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations
• Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
• Perform other tasks assigned by management

Skills And Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
• Prior cash handling experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff
• Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices
• Able to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely

Additional Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and pass a MVR background check (delivery locations only)
• Pass a level 1 and level 2 background check
• At least 21 years of age
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
• Able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitude

Physical Requirements

• Constantly required to move/traverse throughout entire facility, including tight spaces
• Frequently required to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights (e.g., products, packaging, tools, office machinery): push/pull objects up to 50lbs; lift/carry/position objects up to 50 lbs.; ascend/descend stool/ladder/steps; position self and/or objects at floor level (e.g., crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl)
• Occasionally required to remain in a seated position

Work Schedule

Up to 40 hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
