Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Food Service Supervisor (Shift Supervisor) position at Trinity Services Group involves accurately and efficiently preparing and serving a variety of food items in compliance with assigned work instructions and menus. This role also includes utilizing various food preparation tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and/or team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts
• Prepare, assist, or instruct inmates and team members in the preparation of a variety of food items in accordance with departmental standards and work instructions
• Follow assigned facility housekeeping and safety practices in all aspects of meal preparation and service
• Perform other duties as determined by the needs of the business

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Qualifications

• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred, but not required
• ServSafe® Food Handler certification is preferred, and TSG will provide training
• Additional $0.25/hr is offered with certification
