Shift Supervisor

Job Summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a bilingual Shift Supervisor for their plant in St. Charles, Illinois. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and have 2+ years of supervisory experience in the plastics industry, preferably with blow molding or injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, including production schedules, staffing, and quality control
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Train and mentor new employees
• Monitor and address production issues and bottlenecks
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to improve operations
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience in supervising plastics manufacturing processes
• In-depth knowledge of plastics manufacturing equipment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage a diverse team of employees
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Proficiency with relevant software applications
