About the Role
Shift Supervisors provide leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets operating objectives and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures. The Shift Supervisor performs all duties of a Customer Service Representative and assists the Assistant Store Manager in day-to-day operations. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Shift Supervisor directs the activities of all team members.
Responsibilities
- Maintain exemplary customer service within the store and build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Establish a strong customer service culture within the store.
- Support the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals and objectives.
- Assist the Assistant Store Manager with developing and motivating store team members to exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative and supervise the team’s activities in the absence of the Store Manager, including transaction processing, maintenance of cash drawers, and cash handling procedures.
- Coach Customer Service Representatives on conducting transactions that meet superior customer service and compliance standards.
- Review and approve checks within limits.
- Support store marketing efforts within the community.
- Resolve customer complaints.
- Assist the Store Manager with managing schedules, cash, and store audits.
- Review all Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training to ensure understanding of current policies, procedures, and changes.
- Help maintain a neat and clean store environment for customers and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant.
- Ability, willingness, and comfort to engage with customers.
- Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- High-energy, collaborative management experience.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- English fluency (English/Spanish bilingual is a plus).
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance.
- Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels.
- Must manage several tasks at once and handle frequent interruptions to meet customer needs and requests.

Pay
$18.50 - $20.50 USD per hour.
