Position Overview

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading the store to deliver outstanding customer service, meeting operational goals, and following company policies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain exemplary customer service and build relationships with customers
  • Support the Assistant Store Manager in achieving store goals
  • Develop and motivate team members to exceed customer expectations
  • Ensure compliance with regulations
  • Supervise team activities, including transaction processing, cash drawer maintenance, and cash handling
  • Coach team members on superior customer service and compliance
  • Review and approve checks within limits
  • Support store marketing efforts
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Manage schedules, cash, and store audits
  • Review Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of management experience in similar roles
  • Willingness to engage with customers and develop positive relationships
  • Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • High-energy, collaborative management experience
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluency in English, with Spanish proficiency a plus

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
  • Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
  • Must manage several tasks at one time and handle frequent interruptions
