Position Overview
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading the store to deliver outstanding customer service, meeting operational goals, and following company policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain exemplary customer service and build relationships with customers
- Support the Assistant Store Manager in achieving store goals
- Develop and motivate team members to exceed customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Supervise team activities, including transaction processing, cash drawer maintenance, and cash handling
- Coach team members on superior customer service and compliance
- Review and approve checks within limits
- Support store marketing efforts
- Resolve customer complaints
- Manage schedules, cash, and store audits
- Review Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training materials
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year of management experience in similar roles
- Willingness to engage with customers and develop positive relationships
- Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- High-energy, collaborative management experience
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English, with Spanish proficiency a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
- Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Must manage several tasks at one time and handle frequent interruptions
