About the Role
Shift Supervisors at PLS are responsible for leading the store to deliver outstanding customer service, meet operational goals, and follow company policies. They also assist the Assistant Store Manager in various store operations and take charge during the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Maintain exemplary customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Develop and motivate the store team to exceed customer expectations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Process transactions, manage cash drawers, and handle cash procedures
- Coach Customer Service Representatives on superior customer service and compliance
- Review and approve checks within limits
- Support store marketing efforts and resolve customer complaints
- Manage schedules, cash, and store audits
- Review and understand current policies, procedures, and changes
- Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of management experience in industries like hospitality, financial services, retail, and restaurant
- Willingness to engage with customers and develop positive relationships
- A strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- A high-energy, collaborative management style
- A professional appearance and demeanor
- Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English, with Spanish proficiency a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
- Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Must manage several tasks at one time and handle frequent interruptions
