About the Role
Shift Supervisors provide leadership to ensure the store delivers outstanding customer service, meets operating objectives and financial goals, and follows company policies and procedures. This role performs all duties of a Customer Service Representative and assists the Assistant Store Manager in day-to-day operations. In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Shift Supervisor directs the activities of all team members.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining exemplary customer service within the store and building relationships with customers
- Establishing a strong customer service culture within the store
- Supporting the Assistant Store Manager in implementing strategies to meet store goals and objectives
- Assisting the Assistant Store Manager with developing and motivating store team members to exceed customer expectations
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Performing responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative and supervising the team’s activities in the absence of the Store Manager, including transaction processing, maintenance of cash drawers, and cash handling procedures
- Coaching Customer Service Representatives on conducting transactions that meet superior customer service and compliance standards
- Reviewing and approving checks within limits
- Supporting store marketing efforts within the community
- Resolving customer complaints
- Assisting the Store Manager with managing schedules, cash, and store audits
- Reviewing Operations Bulletins, News communications, and training to ensure understanding of current policies, procedures, and changes
- Helping maintain a neat and clean store environment for customers and team members
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of management experience in industries such as hospitality, financial services, retail, or restaurant
- Ability, willingness, and comfort to engage with customers
- Strong desire to exceed corporate initiatives and inspire excellence in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- High-energy, collaborative management experience
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Honesty and integrity
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- English fluency (English/Spanish bilingual is a plus)
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
- Ability to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Ability to manage several tasks at once and handle frequent interruptions to meet customer needs and requests

Pay
$18.50 - $20.50 USD per hour
