Shift Supervisor
About the Role
A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and is responsible for completing all opening and closing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Management: Work effectively with store management and crews. Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing, and following up on all activities. Effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews.
- Customer Service: Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints. Promote CVS’s customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank). Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and ensure a positive shopping experience. Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
- Merchandise/Presentation: Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute displays, signage, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise. Execute the display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise. Reset departments following POGs (Plan-O-Grams).
Requirements
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent store issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Pay
The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $26.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant considerations.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with an anticipated 29 weekly hours.
