Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Night Manager position is available in the Topeka, Kansas area. This role requires strong management experience and communication skills, and is open to full-time or part-time evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of contract compliance for designated building maintenance services
• Maintain the relationship between City Wide and Independent Contractors
• Review the client contract and verify that work expectations have been met
• Communicate with the Facility Services Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention
• Manage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, or VIP treatment needing attention
• Execute City Wide's New-Start Policy, Customer Complaint Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with client policies & procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment, and their proper use
• Make recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines, and discharge if not meeting the service level agreement

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry
• 3 years of prior experience in management, coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or locations
• Building, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience a plus
• Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement
• CRM experience preferred
