Shift Supervisor - 12 hour shift; Days
About the role
Operate state-of-the-art printing presses to deliver high-quality printing and finishing services for film, paper, and specialty materials.
Work alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment.
Monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in comprehensive training program.
Serve essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all IMS & BRC requirements are followed to maintain continuous certification.
- Participate in CAPA meetings, safety meetings, MDI discussions, and 5S activities.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to improve quality and enhance job performance.
- Review order packets for accuracy, including paperwork, standard and critical quality checks, visual inspections, entry of lot numbers for traceability, and retention of procedures.
- Document and ensure timely completion of other production tasks, including housekeeping records and finished goods labeling.
- Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions with staff to develop core competencies, address performance improvements, and promote a positive work environment.
- Engage with staff to establish and complete training and progression plans, utilizing HRIS system (ADP) for attendance, performance reviews, and future development.
- Maintain a safe workspace and adhere to CNG’s Safety Mission.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of leadership experience in a supervisory role, in a manufacturing facility with a focus on quality, safety, and accountability.
- Experience leading and motivating people, making strategic decisions, remaining calm under pressure, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.
- Able to lead and control multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications
- First Aid/AED/BBP/CPR certified.
- Participate in Supervisor Roundtables, Safety Audits, and support Safety Programs (DASH, etc).
- Pass pre-employment drug screening.
Skills
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with measuring tools.
- Strategic decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Pay
Starting Salary: Wages ranging from $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
Schedule
Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule. Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 12-hour static shifts (Days - 6:00am - 6:00pm)
