Shift Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift (4:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m.)

Key Responsibilities

• Coaches employees on performing duties safely for both personnel and food safety.
• Safely communicates operations schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to meet safety, production, and quality specifications.
• Facilitates team problem solving, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Ensures progress reports are completed in a timely manner.
• Communicates with shifts and teams to facilitate communication.
• Trains and cross-trains operators.
• Coordinates emergency response and compliance with Company policies.
• Responds to personnel issues and conducts thorough investigations.
• Supports meeting customer requirements through communication, training, and adherence to sanitation guidelines and GMPs, including the HACCP program.
• Maintains plant cleanliness to a satisfactory degree.
• Improves processes by following lean manufacturing concepts, company values, and culture.
• Strives to improve each work process.
• Identifies and supports value-added and cost-saving activities and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and three plus years manufacturing-related experience in a lead role, or five plus years in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of database, Excel, and word processing software.
• Manufacturing and process knowledge.
• Solid judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to make sound business decisions.
